Friday, 7 February 2025 - The YES 2 MALAYSIA Education Malaysia Expo 2025, held at the Mulia Hotel, Berakas, on 7th and 8th February 2025, served as a key platform for students in Brunei to explore higher education opportunities in Malaysia. As part of the event, Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM) participated to showcase its maritime education programs.

Given DPS’s existing MOU with ALAM for the Cadetship Program, ALAM invited DPS to support the Expo by sharing insights into the cadetship opportunities available to aspiring maritime professionals.

During the event, three cadets from DPS Cohort 1, currently in their studies at ALAM, were on hand to share their experiences with attendees, offering firsthand insights into the academy’s programs.

The event also featured the participation of a representative from DPS: our Human Resource Assistant Manager, Siti Khadijah binti Haji Abdul Halid, who was present to respond to inquiries about the cadet program and provide further details on the opportunities for future students.

The Expo served as a valuable opportunity for those who are interested in maritime careers to connect with experts and learn more about ALAM’s offerings.
